holiday giving
this holiday season, you have the power to create a brighter future for a military veteran who suffers from anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder.
this member of our Armed Forces, who served our country and made incredible sacrifices, needs a Psychiatric Service Dog to help him do the everyday things that those of us without a mental health illness take for granted.
our service dog in training, the stunningly handsome Canelo, is destined to become that Psychiatric Service Dog for our military veteran.
we are asking for donations so that we can continue with the next phases of training between them: integration, placement and and post-placement continuing education for a minimum of one year.
these steps are when dog and veteran come together.
when they learn how to communicate with one another. when magic is made through the healing process of a Service Dog and its human.
we’d be honored for you to be part of this journey.
your donation
100% of your donation goes directly towards the in-depth training between Canelo and our military veteran.
psychiatric service dogs
in addition to learning impressive real-world skills, our Psychiatric Service Dogs are trained to perform specific tasks for their person to help mitigate the symptoms of anxiety, depression or post-traumatic stress disorder.
“i'd like to be remembered as a guy who tried — tried to be part of his times, tried to help people communicate with one another, tried to find some decency in his own life, tried to extend himself as a human being.”
— Paul Newman, actor
